How Can I Help?

Partnership scheme

We want to develop relationships with individuals and churches who are as dedicated to young people and evangelism as we are. The Partners scheme has been designed to link people to the vital work that SYFC is doing throughout the Swindon area. SYFC Partners realise that young people are both the church of today and will be the church of the future. They are people who see practical investment in SYFC as an investment in the future. By becoming a Partner you - demonstrate your commitment to young people - release others to do holistic evangelism - join the SYFC family!

As a Partner you will get: - a news letter at least 3 times a year. This contains interviews, news, reviews and information about the work of SYFC. - personal letters to keep you updated on our work with young people. - access to the resources, information & advice SYFC produces. - an invite to our annual 'Thank you' evening and other events throughout the year.

Prayer Partner

A Prayer Partner is some one who pledges some of their time to pray for the work of SYFC. We currently send out, with our mailing, a prayer diary to all of our Partners with up to date prayer requests and information some Partners choose to pray with others in their mid-week meetings or Sunday Services.

Time Partner

We currently have volunteers who are actively involved in the work of Swindon Youth for Christ - serving in many different areas including schools work, events, Exec committee, hospitality and office work. A time partner is someone who pledges their time as a volunteer in helping take the Good news relevantly to young people. There is always plenty of work for people whom God is calling to serve him in youth outreach. We have many people who chose to get involved, both young and old, part-time, full-time, or even an hour a month can make a real difference.

Financial Partner

The work of Swindon Youth for Christ is funded entirely by local giving from individuals, churches, trusts and businesses. The majority of this giving comes from individuals. We are a registered charity and depend on people like you, with a heart for the young people of this area, to give to the work. Over 50% of our income comes from these regular gifts. There are three ways you can give: by standing order, cheques sent by post or stewardship giving. If you are a tax payer you can increase your gift by 28% by completing a gift aid form. To become a finance partner all we ask for is a minimum annual donation of £15
